Men do have trouble hearing women, scientists find

LONDON (AFP) - Men who are accused of never listening by women now have an excuse -- women's voices are more difficult for men to listen to than other men's, a report said.
The Daily Mail, quoting findings published in the specialist magazine
NeuroImage, said researchers at Sheffield university in northern England discovered startling differences in the way the brain responds to male and female sounds.
Men deciphered female voices using the auditory part of the brain that processes music, while male voices engaged a simpler mechanism, it said.
The Mail quoted researcher Michael Hunter as saying, "The female voice is actually more complex than the male voice, due to differences in the size and shape of the vocal cords and larynx between men and women, and also due to women having greater natural 'melody' in their voices.

"This causes a more complex range of sound frequencies than in a male voice."
The findings may help explain why people suffering hallucinations usually hear male voices, the report added, as the brain may find it much harder to conjure up a false female voice accurately than a false male voice.

Good evening pals, how's ur day have been? "Ting", it's Fri nite again! Time flies so fast. Everyone should be looking forward for their weekend, including me, I suppose. kaka. But I'm so so worry coz' I'll be leading again this Sun for praise n worship. Samo for 2 services, double shock, in front of such a big congregation. But i believe God will comfort and calm me down.

This morning, I just found out from a site that we can download Christian's mp3s. Guess what website is that? It was to my surprise to find out that www.download.com available for mp3s download. Check it out! I've downloaded few guitars hyms and it's fantastics. For those who like classical musics, go ahead. You wont regret!

Went home, quite sleepy but cant sleep! So decided to watch the movie "Unleashed" by Jet Li. It's a nice movie though, kinda like the story line. Jet Li aka Danny was a slave but treated like a dog. Basically what he does is killing ppl to earn for a living as commanded from his boss. But MUSIC basically changed his whole life. How amazing that could be, MUSIC! Show's how powerful music could be. So, take in proper musics and NO Eminem or Marilyn Manson etc. All those music's will brain wash you, becoming more violent. Please friends, be careful when listening to music.

As I was in the office just now, my colleague that sits beside me, Daven tapau KFC for me. It's a whipped potato. Thanks pal. Hehe. It's my favourite again. Wow, I've been eating so many nice good food lately. Guess Im going to be fat once again. >.<>futsal tomorrow noon together with my colleague. Yeah! Yeah!Shyong will be following me down as well. Right after that I will have my last practise for praise and worship before Sun. Please pray for me pals. Pray for a ready and right heart before God for all my team members. Team members are Kean Loong(drum), Shyong(bass), Choon Tat(guitarist), Joanne Teh(keyboardist), Yong Ying(pianist), backups (May, June, James Chew, Hao Ern) and last but not least, ME the praise and worship leader cum guitarist.

Oh ya, 2molo is my daddy's birthday. Im going to bring him out for makan. Planning to bring him to Kim Gary, coz' he havent been there at all. Poor him! Well, this is also the first time I treat my family with my own money, my heart earn money for a so called BIG MEAL. Previously all was their money even i've collected that from my pocket money, but never once with the money i've earn. Im happy for that, finally i can be independent and not rellying on my parents financially.

God Is Really Wonderful To Me

Just now my team lead spoken to me and guess what? God is really amazing to me. I was talking to him with the expectation of getting scolding from him. I prayed, God please have mercy on me and give me strength and courage to go through it, before talking to my team lead. I did not pray like, God please do not let me get into scolding. This is never in my thoughts. But God works in amazing ways.

I was really surprised, not only my team lead did not sounded me, on the other hand, he praised me. He mentioned that I'm setting a good example because if everyone would to open a ticket and asking from assistance from the technician, then what would happen to the first closed call resolution? Meaning what should they need us all here to be working on? Really praise God for that. I really feel the enjoyment when you really trust God in EVERYWAY! To my fellow buddies, darlings and friends, do not be disappointed when things are getting upset, all you need to do is to TRUST THE LORD!

Hi all, Im feeling much better today. Guess all of you worry for me huh! Anyway, truely grateful for your concern. Had a great day too! Got up in the middle of "my night" to have lunch with Ah Siang and Yong2. Haha, I got up @ 12 and miscal Yong but as usual me, sleep again. Then Siang manage to wake me up by 12:15. kaka, guess she's worried I couldnt wake up on time. Ya, she is right. I manage to get up by then and get ready to pick up Yong and we finally decided to go to the yoyo-ice and fried chicken from Pandamaran. Everyone claims is very nice, but =( I've not try that yet. It's a self service stall and I took my yoyo-ice first. This silly Yong said why I follow her, coz i took the plum flavor but then later i mix that with luo han guo. Haha. Then when comes to ordering chicken, i was blur. Moreover I just got up. Hehe. I just followed what Yong ordered. 2 types of chicken, 1 is the grill ones and the other one is the fried ones.

To tell all of you seriously, I dont find it nice or special for that grill chicken. Dont really like that. Hehe. Perhaps I should say, not my type. But i kinda prefer the fried one though. It's crunchy and nice, and the taste fits my toungue's. Keke, that's not the important i guess, the highlight is the fellowship I had with them. Really had good time, joking around. Hehe. Food always brings friends together. Do you all agree with me? Most of the time i do think that way.

During our conversation, talking abouthokkien mee, Siang suddenly reminded me of last Sun, 21/08, I think she wants me to share this in the blog. That's why she is reminding me, you see? Hehe. She went for the book exhibition in Pasar Seni to help up. After that, she went dinner with her colleague and she "tapau" hokkien mee. Right after she meet me and Noelle in SS2. We were late for 30minutes and guess what she did with the hokkien mee? She walk around SS2 with the hokkien mee, OH MY, hehe. She even went Salvation bookstore and then to McD with the packet of hokkien mee. She samore added, hokkien mee "kuk" already very nice. Kaka. Then we went for tong sui with my 2 darlings. As usual, I'll take the manggo sago, manggo is my fav. However, not to mention about my 1st darling Noelle, gosh, she is eating like a preg lady. She ate a bowl of noodle, 2 bowl of tong sui and 1 side dish. Moreover, she had taken her dinner. That time was just about 9:30PM. Wondering is there worm in her stomach. Kaka. I guess I better stop saying, or else she'll kill me if she comes back from Hong Kong.

I had something nice today for my dinner, as well as my fav. Guess what is that? It's crab. Hehe. Mummy and daddy really love me lots. They really provide me what I want. Sometimes I feel so blessed to have parent like them. Mummy cooked into 2 flavours. 1 is the tomato and the other one is the curry spicy. Yummy, I equally like both of them because it's my mum's cooking. Hehe.

I guess that bout it, something nice today. Later I'll update you about the yesterday's user. Have the outcome lo...Keke.

Hokkien Mee

Hehe. Something special today, no bun for me! As it was about my "lunch" time, my "sifu"(co-worker, Daniel) taxed me and ask me if I would wanna go out today for makan. Well, for those who know James well, he needs time to think on that, but do not know why he agreed to follow Daniel. So yes, he went over to SS223 for "tua cha", hokkien mee.

Wow, tell you what, I did not regret follow Daniel out. I enjoyed the hokkien mee as if I have not eaten for few centuries. Finger licking good (opps not KFC but it's really very nice)! Not that it's my first time eating that, but everytime you eat, the taste is different. They use charcoal and gas to cook that. Never seen that before. Not that I've known so far. Hehe. Well, if you all would to be interested, come find me. I'll tell you where the shop is located. I dont mind bringing you there too.

Moreover, I've found out something new from Dan, he mentioned that there is a resort in Cameron Highlands is just specifically for the Methodist's Church. Then the first thing browse through my mind is CG. Perhaps I can suggest this to May, since I've told her that we havent had outing for quite some time already. Samo it's quite reasonable, about RM150 for 7 person per night. Isn't that cheap? I think it is. Hehe. I really cant wait looking forward towards this year end. Going to finish up all my annual leaves and take holiday. Hehe.

As I am about to end this blog, a call came in that spoil my mood of the day. Haiz, this user, darm bossy and rude. I told him let me guide him through his problem but he keep insisting of wanting to assistance from others and he just hung up the phone like that. He samore added he would complain to my manager about that. HELLO? He is rude and he want to complain to my manager? Im confuse here. Well, surprisingly, Im not angry with the user. God just calm me down, but just worries in my mind. What the consequences I'll get? Moreover the user is the director. Mati lo. But I always hand it to God!

Wow you wouldnt want to know how much I've slept today. It's 10 hours. haha, I've been sleeping long hours lately, not really sure why? Guess, becoming like pig huh, you must be wondering. I donno why also. Just sleepy la. I've got a nice room, air-conditioned as well as dark colored walls, making the whole environment in the room like it is night. Moreover I have a queen size bed, enabling me to roll around when I'm extra sleepy. Wow isn't that nice to sleep?

Oh ya, today I dint manage to follow Siang to colleges. She rang me up but I was too sleepy to follow her, so I rejected to follow her. Ya lor, did OT for 1 hr, it's a sudden one actually. So, I reached home almost 7. Then after taking nice warm bath, there goes my "night". Got up @ 5pm!

I started off my day with devotion, then I just took my guitar and just play whatever songs that came to my mind. I was really edified with most of the songs' lyrics. I even practised for the praise & worship for this coming Sun. For those who yet to know, I'll be leading praise & worship session this Sun. I've run through all the songs couple of times. Was touched by God by what He is trying to tell me through the songs. Had a wonderful moment praise and worshiping God all alone by myself.

That's all from me @ the moment, looking forward for early morning tomorrow. Man Utd will be playing in champions league, go Red Devils. Rooney should score 1. hehe. Take care pals.

First Posting

First posting, marks the history that James finally has his blog done on the office. =) Most of you all must be sleeping by now, it's 4:11AM. Guess what? most of my colleagues are watching soccer in the office. We have a plasma tv right in front of the call center where it's on, on channel 81 (astro), so watch la. Hehe, but im here doing the blog. It's the game between Man City and Sunderland. Guess whos going to win? Well, not my interest though, Man Utd is not playing. kaka.

Call volume is low today, I manage to do this within 2 hrs. Not that fast though, but I always wanted to have a blog to be done. Well, in a way, I can keep my friends and buddy update on the things that Im doing.

Well, nothing much happen today. Still a boring day. Sitting in the office answering calls, troubleshooting computers, escalating issues yardi yarda and so on, already norm with my working lifestyle. But I have worries in my mind today, should i follow Ah Siang to colleges to look out information on MBA. Still in dilemma. Please pray hard for me dear friends. If i would to do MBA, I dont think i can i do it as a part time course. Afraid i cant cope with it. I have to choose either one. MBA or work. Life is always full of decision. Well, all I needed to do at the moment is just to hand God to work that out for me. Worrying is not a solution!

Most likely I'll follow Ah Siang and see what God would tell me about furthering on studies. I guess, that's all for today. Have a good day ya, people! I will be going off work soon, not working OT today. It's about 4:46AM right now. Cheers!
